Samsung has now officially announced the launch of Core 2 in India with the price tag of Rs 11,900 on its e-store.
The new Core 2 was intoduced by company earlier this month.
The Galaxy Core 2 is the peer to the popular Galaxy Core which was launched in June last year at higher cost in comparison to the new launch.
Smartphone has a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz Essence UI. It has a 5-mega-pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-mega-pixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
The device is a dual-SIM handset with 3G HSPA+ connectivity, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage with expansion slot and a 2000 mAh battery.
It comes with leather like back cover. It is available in Black and White colours.
